COVID 19 POLICES -LAST UPDATED 1/15

Due to rising cases in Los Angeles county we have returned to Curbside only at this time.

When you arrive in our parking lot please call our office at 661-259-7387. Inform the receptionist of your pets name, the color and make of vehicle you are in and the best call back number for you. It is important to park as close to the office as possible. for the safety of your pet and staff

A staff member will come out to your vehicle to get your pet. Our staff will be wearing face masks and we ask you do as well.

CATS MUST BE IN SECURE CAT CARRIES AND DOGS MUST BE ON SECURE LEASHES UNABLE TO SLIP OUT OF COLLARS OR HARNESSES. A STAFF MEMBER MAY PLACE A SLIP LEAD ON YOUR DOG AS EXTRA PROTECTION.

Your pet will be brought into our office. Our technician will check vitals and if needed call you for additional history or information. Once the Dr has completed their exam they will call the number you provided when you arrived to go over your concerns, their findings and the treatments recommended.

When your pet is ready to go home our receptionist will call you to collect payment. At this time we are asking you pay with a card to avoid cash being exchanged.

A staff member will then bring out your receipt, pet and any medications going home.

We are allowing pet owners in with their pet during euthanasia’s so long as everyone is wearing their face masks, are not experiencing any covid related symptoms and have not recently come in contact with someone who is covid positive.

Special Reminder

Please be patient with our staff. Since Covid-19 lockdowns we are seeing a higher volume of patients then ever before. Combined with patients being curbside we have been slowed down tremendously. Our staff is doing their best to provide proper care for each patient which may cause longer wait times. If you need to drop off your pet for their exam please alert staff at the time of drop off and keep your phone on you at all times.


Appointment Policy

Santa Clarita Animal Hospital is an appointment only based practice.
While we do our best to welcome walk-in clients, if our schedule is full we may not have the time to provide your pet with proper care. Walk-in emergency cases, are subject to an additional emergency fee. We highly recommend scheduling appointments in advance. Please give us a call for more information, 661-417-0856.


Patient Arrival Policy

If you are new to our office, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment so we can serve you more efficiently.

If you are more then 10 minutes late to your appointment there may be an additional wait time or your appointment may need to be rescheduled

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. Cats must be in cat carriers

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.


Payment Policy

Payment is expected when services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).
